Beekeeper in Vendée

A beekeeper since 2018 after a year’s training, in addition to camping, Maxime manages around a hundred hives, partly near La Bergerie and within a 15 km radius.

“What a pleasure it is to open the hives, look after them, try to understand them and be able to enjoy the surplus of what they harvest.”

In addition to producing honey, Maxime offers candles made from the wax produced by his bees, propolis, mead and swarm sales.

All our products are on sale at reception, and you can sample our mead on the terrace of the guinguette.
